Program of the Manoeuvre-oriented Freeride Board: Stunning Performance and Ease
The Manoeuvre-oriented Freeride Board delivers everything you'd expect from a top-tier freeride board – and it does so with exceptional ease and performance!
These boards feel playful and nimble, sitting high on the water to deliver that lively and sporty feel that makes windsurfing so exhilarating. They’re fast yet incredibly easy to sail and control. With a wide, thin design, these boards plane early and offer impressive gybing potential for riders of all levels!
Since its inception, this line has been a magical blend of everything an advanced rider desires from a funboard. While the original versions focused on ease of use, the second generation became more agile and lively. Now, this third generation offers significantly improved control at speed and through chop, resulting in a sporty, energetic character that is incredibly easy to handle.
The result? These boards ride smoothly and quickly, carving through turns with effortless ease. They are JP’s most playful and manoeuvre-oriented freeride boards, pushing performance and fun to the next level.
The Magic Ride is the undisputed ‘Gentleman of the Turn’ in the freeride class: In gybes, it feels effortless and refined, even in challenging sea conditions. Maintaining its respected autopilot qualities, the Magic Ride requires minimal input from the rider, making it incredibly forgiving and boosting gybe success rates for intermediate riders. Entering and exiting gybes has never been easier, even at lower speeds, making planing through gybes a reality for all!
For advanced riders, the board's rail bite and carving reliability will encourage pushing harder into turns with full confidence. Tighter turns, duck gybes, and carving 360s become second nature. The Magic Ride is essentially a larger Freestyle Wave and the most playful and forgiving of JP’s manoeuvre freeride boards.
The True Freerider: The real marvel of this board line is its ease and smoothness. Step on it, and everything feels natural and predictable. The sensation is familiar – like slipping on a well-worn, comfortable pair of shoes. You’ll achieve more speed than previous freeride boards, all while maintaining a relaxed and confident stance. Despite its easy-riding nature, performance and agility remain uncompromised. British WINDSURF once noted the board's surprising speed, describing its performance as comfortable, if not exceptional. The hull feels quick, lively, and responsive, providing the traction needed to push your limits and enjoy a thrilling ride.
Magic Ride 159: The 159 model, longer than the others, offers stability and accessibility, making it the perfect choice for those transitioning from a beginner board with a daggerboard. It’s specially tuned for easy, early planing, naturally leading to that addictive planing sensation.
